Sparky T is one of the best and most recognized figures in the turntablist-dj scene. He was the first dj to appear on national TV and demonstrate advanced dj techniques during the 1991-1993 period.
He is a 7-times DMC champion during the 90’s and taking the 5th place in the World DMC Championships in 1996.
His discography is very rich, having appeared as a session dj-musician in numerous hip-hop (mainly) artists’ albums. He has also been a band member of some of Greece’s greatest groups, such as Goin’ Through, Stavento, FF.C and others.
He has toured with some of these bands worldwide, having played gigs in Australia, USA, UK, Germany and more. Of course he has performed in most clubs all over Greece.
He has been the head lecturer of SAE in Greece, running the DJ Course for more than 10 years and also giving guest lectures in the EMP department (Electronic Music Production).
These days he is the official DJ of Nivo (Goin’ Through), one of the key-figures and most respectful rappers in Greece since the late 90’s, who’s making a very strong comeback. Together they released the single “Ghetto” a few months ago with a full album in the works.
He also works with other musicians, djs and vocalists on various projects.
He’s considered one of the most skillful and technical dj’s bringing the heat whenever he djs at. Powerful dance music combined with tricks and ideas make his dj sets a unique experience.
